Footnote: Advertisement for a concert held in Washington, PA by the Colonial Band of Pittsburgh, an all-black 40-piece marching band featuring former members of the Grand Lodge Band of the Knights of Pythias. The illustration shows the men, equipped with lots of drums and brass. We are told to "watch for the grand street parade," and a special train from Washington back to Pittsburgh was scheduled for 1:30 a.m.
